Service Description

Criminal Check At client's request, we will perform a county level criminal search for criminal convictions and pending criminal matters in the consumer's current county of residence as well as any former counties of residence identified by the Social Security Number. We will report such information for a maximum of seven years from the original sentencing date of the relevant charges. **Please Note: additional state court fees may apply. National Criminal Database At client’s request, we will search a “National Criminal Database,” a privately-held compilation of criminal records obtained from many sources throughout the United States. This service provides a useful, broad-based search tool to complement county-level and state-level searches selected by the client. The National Criminal Database is not comprehensive, however. It contains limited or no information pertaining to certain states and localities. We will only report criminal records found in the National Criminal Database if the record is successfully verified at the original source (e.g., at the county courthouse where the conviction occurred). Sex Offender Search (National) At client’s request, we will search the United States Department of Justice National Sex Offender database, which contains sex offender records from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. All search results will be verified by visiting the providing jurisdiction’s public registry website. SSN Trace At client’s request, we will conduct a “Social Security Number Trace.” A “Social Security Number Trace” is an internal tool utilized by us that seeks out names and addresses associated with a particular social security number.
